The trailer does show off some appealing new footage, but it’s also sparse enough lớn indicate that production still has a ways lớn go. Season two coming in the second half, or even the final quarter, of 2021 is the most realistic expectation here.It also makes sense to lớn assume that Demon Slayer’s second season will be 26 episodes, just like its predecessor, but there are a few details that might discourage this. Season one of Demon Slayer adapted just over 50 manga chapters in these 26 episodes. Demon Slayer’s Entertainment District Arc is only 30 chapters in the manga. This could mean that a much longer time will be spent adapting each chapter, or it’s possible that the Entertainment District Arc composes the majority of season two, but not the entire thing. The last, and most unappealing scenario, is that season two will operate with the same pacing as season one, but still only focus on the Entertainment District Arc, which would mean that it could be a shorter season of around 16 episodes.What’s The New Story?Demon Slayer season 2 features the subtitle of “Entertainment District Arc,” which gives a pretty clear indication of what material from the Demon Slayer manga is going lớn be adapted. The Entertainment District Arc takes Tanjiro & company lớn Yoshiwara, an unscrupulous red light district, where crime và demon activity run rampant.
